Snapshot Button

Description
Overview

The Snapshot PushButton creates a record of the simulator's current position, orientation, and configuration. This is called a snapshot.

Snapshots can be recalled later on the Playback and Snapshot Page. When recalled, a snapshot will return the simulator to its conditions when the snapshot was taken.

An example of the use of a snapshot would be to take a snapshot at an initial approach point, so that it would be easy to recall the snapshot later and return to that same point, and try the approach again.

The functionality of the Snapshot button should not be confused with that of the Mark button, which is used solely for debriefing purposes.
