Overview
The Message Log has two main purposes. One purpose is to report hardware or software problems with the simulator itself. Also, diagnostic messages are displayed as the IOS and simulation host computer begin communications.
The second, and primary, purpose of the Message Log is to help support student performance monitoring. Most cockpit switch actions are logged to this area of the screen. The student's actions can then be compared with a desired action
Due to the limited amount of space available, only the last few log messages are displayed on the screen at any one time.
