Freezes and Resets

Description
Freeze GroupBox

Use the System PushButton to enable or disable a total flight freeze. When selected, altitude, attitude, heading, and position are frozen. Other simulator systems, such as the engine, continue to operate normally.

Use the Position PushButton to freeze latitude and longitude position only.

Use the Altitude PushButton to freeze altitude only.

Use the Heading PushButton to freeze heading only.
Reset GroupBox

The Takeoff reset positions the simulator to the current active airport and active runway, as selected on the Reposition page. Once repositioned, the simulator is put in System Freeze.

The All Systems reset restores the simulation from conditions such as a fractured canopy, a dead battery, or a low hydraulic fluid quantity. This reset does not reposition the aircraft in any way.

The Fuel Fill reset refills both fuel tanks and the collector tank.

The Malfunction Clear reset clears any armed or active malfunctions from the simulation.

Note: In malfunctions such as a hydraulic fluid leak, the low fluid level as a result of the malfunction is not restored to its previous condition -- that is the purpose for the All Systems reset.

Note: Any circuit breakers which have been tripped must be manually reset in the cockpit.
Quick Start Button

Use the Quick Start PushButton to quickly start the engine, bypassing the normal start sequence. The throttle must be in the IDLE position for this to be successful.
Visual ON Button

Use the Visual ON Toggle PushButton to turn off or on the visual system.

When the simulator does not move for several minutes, the visual system blanks out to save the projectors from damage.

To manually turn the visual system back on (or off), use this button.

You may have to press it twice before the visual comes on.
