The Crash message is displayed when the simulator detects flight conditions have exceeded certain values.
At the same time, the simulation is put into Freeze mode and the visual system indicates a crash by a red display.
Crash Conditions
There are four general conditions for the crash page to be displayed. They are:
Excessive sink rate
Overspeed condition
Excessive vertical "G" loads
Terrain impact
Note: If Crash Override has been previously selected on the instructor's console buttons, no crash will be detected and no crash messages will be displayed.
