Checklist Pages

Description
Performance Monitoring Checklists

The numerous Checklist pages allow the monitoring of a student's performance against standard aircraft procedures.
Checklist Text

The text of the checklist resembles that of the official Pilot's Pocket Checklist. However, some text has not been included because it does not relate to training in a simulator. Therefore, the checklists will not be exact reproductions of the official aircraft documents.
Student Performance

Most checklist line items contain a specific step for the student to accomplish.

On the right side of the checklist is displayed the current simulation parameter which corresponds with a checklist line item.

This data allows a comparison to be made between the desired action and the student's action.

Note: This is not intended to be a "smart" monitor. The instructor is responsible for determining if the student's actions match the checklist items for the current scenario.
NEXT Button

The NEXT button, where present, advances the checklist to the next page. The pages are ordered in a similar way to the actual aircraft checklists.
PREV Button

The PREV button, where present, advances the checklist to the previous checklist page.

Note: The PREV button does not necessarily move the checklist to the most recently viewed page. Rather, it moves to the previous page in the whole "book" of checklists.
INDEX Button

The INDEX button, where present, changes the checklist to one level higher in the overall checklist structure.

Several presses of the INDEX button are necessary to achieve the topmost level in the checklist hierarchy.

Some examples of index pages reachable through the INDEX button are Normal Procedures, and Emergency Procedures.
